Lipti mujhse roti rahi
Kuch der tak kameez bheegati rahi
Be-hiss main usko dekhta raha
Kafan ke saaye mein chhipa raha.
ek waqt essa aata hai jab uss insaan ko apni galti ka ehsaas ho jata hai par tab tak der ho jati hai. Kuch ussi ko soch kar yeh kavita likhi thi maine. Main mara pada hounga, voh mujhse milne aayegi, royegi – mujhe chila chila kar uthayegi par mai chehre par bina hao-bhao rakhe usko dekhta rahunga(insensitively). Tab tak der ho gayi hogi toh koi fayda nahi usse milne ka, koi fayda nahi uth kar uss ko jawab dene ka, koi fayda nahi fir se yahi dil uske liye dharkane ka.
This poem is easy to understand, but the emotions it embodies are incredibly hard to endure in real life. It captures the agony of losing someone you loved deeply, someone who is no longer with you. You find yourself clinging to the fragile hope that, one day, they might return. But as time passes, reality sets in, and you’re left to face the truth—alone, wrapped in a shroud of despair. In the quiet of those final moments, all you have are the memories of the life you built together, haunting you with their bittersweet beauty.
